Feeling overstimulated as a teaching mom

Anybody else out there a full time teacher while raising a toddler? Would love to hear about your experience. I teach PK-8th grade in our city, and I love my job, but ever since having our daughter I’ve started to resent my job. I can’t afford to be a SAHM or work part time, but feeling DESPERATE for a slower pace and more time at home. Has anybody on here transitioned out of teaching to something else that pays just as much but gives you more flexibility and time with your littles? Feeling like I’m at the end of my rope here.

I am not a teacher but my mom was and it was very hard for her to go from dealing with kids all day to coming home and raising her own kids. She was an amazing mom but looking back now, I know her day to day was so rough and she was overstimulated and depressed for some of it. Could you transition to a substitute? I’m not sure if that would be enough hours or pay enough for you but could be more flexible. Or watching other kids in your home?

What other skill sets do you have ? What are your string suits in general regarding job skills?

What kind of teacher are you? Are you good with technology and might be able to do something tech related?
