Odd question

We just had our first FET and the day before the clinic asked if we wanted to transfer the strongest one or do we have any other preference and it’s been bugging me what they mean by that? What would the other choice have been? Has anyone experienced this?

Very strange usually they always choose the highest graded one for FET. I could understand for Fresh if there was some embryos that would not be high enough quality for freezing.

I think they are referring to the embryo grades, I am surprised they even mention it to be honest as it can cause unnecessary stress 😔. I have a remaining embryo frozen and prefer not to know the grading. Best of luck and sending sticky embryo vibes xxxx

Hmm that is a bit odd. We were only Told the grades of our embryos when I was all gowned-up ready for the transfer. And that was when they also said they would only transfer one instead of two (my age was a consideration for potentially transferring two embryos) I guess maybe your clinic meant ‘would you rather the one strongest quality one OR two slightly lower quality ones??’ Could that be what they meant?! 🤔
