Raspberry tea

Does anyone have experience drinking raspberry tea to prepare for Labour? I am 32 weeks and drank my first cup today. I felt a little weird. Is there too many risks to drinking this as there’s not enough evidence it can help with labour? Any insights are appreciated.

What kind of weird. It doesn’t put you into labor it helps prepare your body.

Drinking it at that point is fine if you do one cup a day. For a little bit then maybe 2 cups at 35/36 weeks then more cups after 37

I did and had a successful VBAC, obviously can’t attribute it to the raspberry leaf tea though 😂 my c section was at 3cm so technically not even in labour (those 24 hours of back to back contractions from hyper stimulation were fun though 🥲) so my VBAC was my “first” labour and relatively quick for a first time I was told 😊 I’m only 22 weeks with #3 but will be drinking it again from 32 weeks this time 😊

Ok this is helpful and encouraging! I will keep going with it. By weird I mean I felt nauseous and really dehydrated. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

I drank a cup a day from about 36 weeks until delivery. I had a great VBAC, relatively quick and easy for a first labor (c-section was planned). I can't tell if it made any difference but I guess it didn't hurt 🤷‍♀️

@Érika did you drink a cup per day or three cups??
