It’s definitely more about quality than quantity when it comes to eggs 🩷 people used to say to me ‘it only takes 1’ and it annoyed me at the time but it’s true. As long as you get a few good quality eggs there’s every chance one of them could be your baby xxx
My AMH is 5.8 and follicle count 12 so quite a few less than you but I ended up with 9 frozen embryos and I got OHSS after being on 300 gonal f!
@Clara OHSS was a concern brought up in the appointment!
I’m on my second cycle now with an AMH of 8.2 and only 11 follicles. We’ve been taking 450 gonal and hoping for good results tomorrow at my next scan. OHSS hasn’t been mentioned to me as being a risk so hopefully I’ll dodge it as I’d really like a fresh transfer 🤞🏻 xx
My AMH was 0.7 at 36 years old. My follicle count was 12. Our results were: 10 retrieved 7 mature 4 fertilized 3 blasts 1 PGT normal 1 almost 6 month old baby boy that I'm currently rocking to sleep.🩵
@Gianna That’s brilliant results 😊 Unfortunately out of my 11 base follicles only 1 had matured on day 10. The Dr has extended the medication in the hope more will grow and catch up, we go back tomorrow for the next scan. I’m so nervous because if there’s no change they will probably cancel again and I don’t know how I’ll cope xx
