What would you have done?

I know I’ll get judged for this and being ungrateful. I ordered a product from a website (beauty) and they sent me in and accidentally included someone else’s order that totalled £400 (so much expensive skin care make up etc) so I emailed them with pics to say just in case this person wonders where their order is etc. today I sent it back to the company as they sent me a label and they’ve offered me 10% off my next spend over £100 with them as a gesture of goodwill. I don’t want to buy anything else just yet and defo not over the amount. Can’t help but think sometimes doing the right thing doesn’t pay off 😂

I’d honestly of kept it 🤣

The company wouldn’t lose out on anything

I would’ve kept it. That’s THEIR mistake to rectify, not yours. And she would’ve received it regardless. Your 10% voucher should have like a 3-6m expiry date (sometimes a year) so you don’t have to use it straight away check the expiry on that. You can also give it as a bonus to a gfs bday present etc

You’re a better person than me 😅

I was sent a double order (£50 in error basically from a baby company) once but it was a small company and I felt bad for keeping it. They sent me a return label and 10% off my next order which I thought was a bit bad of them. I should have had a thank you and maybe even something free sent to the value of £10 and I would have felt good about my good deed! If it wasn’t a SME and a multi national I would have kept it and not my problem!

@Francesca thanks how I feel!! Or even a partial refund of my order etc. 🤣
