@Skye okay perfect thank you! I might just reduce her morning bottle as she usually doesn’t have breakfast until she’s at nursery at 8 so maybe just a couple ounces to see her through. I’ve got sugar free squash for her and I put a small amount in loads of water but she doesn’t seem to like it much still d
@Caitlin have u tried any other flavour as my son will only drink orange he hates Vimto and that
Mine was having 3 a day until he started to refuse the morning one. It’s still essential for their growth and development so I would rather he has 3 tbh
@Em not necessarily. If they have cheese and yogurts in their diet, they don't as much milk as you think. Plus the solid foods should fill them up and not need too much milk
My son has his cereals with milk, for breakfast, solid food for lunch, dinner, snacks throughout the day which include yoghurts as well a small amount of milk. He loves water too He was having a bottle bwfore sleep but we tried weening hom off the bottle and gave him milk with a sippy cup. He wasn't as keen on having it.
My lg is still on 1 morning bottle and 1 nighttime bottle she will occasionally have 1 in the afternoon just depending on how she does with her eating. She’s still not 100% on lunch everyday so I like to know she’s getting something if needs be x
Im the same as you! I found after the first four days she got used to having a larger afternoon snack instead of that bottle!
My little girl won't drink cows milk by itself so she still gets 1 formula bottle in the night though she's in the process of weaning off that. Other than that she just gets plenty dairy in her solids and we offer a cup of cows milk as a side drink if the meal doesnt have much dairy. Your best bet is to follow her lead, do a few trials of dropping ounces or skipping a bottle and moving solids earlier. It takes some trial and error but ultimately you'll find what works best.
1 bottle of cows milk offered at night, sometimes he takes it sometimes he leaves it, he eats plenty in the day and lots of water x
My little boy is offered a 7 oz bottle morning and night. Then offered a 5oz beaker after his nap. Some days he drinks it all, other days he doesn’t… just go with the flow of your baby, they will let you know if they want it or not d
I give my son 1 bottle at night but he has breakfast lunch and tea and snacks in between he also didn’t like water so he has a tiny bit of juice not loads tho in water
