Does calpol give anyone’s baby a tummy ache and diarrhoea?

My little one has a bit of a cold and he had a few doses of calpol yesterday and he has been in a lot of discomfort with his belly and had a lot of diarrhoea. I don’t know if it’s related to the calpol or the fact he has a cold. This happened a few months ago when he had Covid I gave him calpol as well. He has Nurofen for teething at times and this doesn’t happen
