Tandem/double buggy
Hello lovely mums! I am 34 weeks pregnant with my second. LO will be 2 end of February and we are debating getting a tandem buggy. Has anyone done this and have any recommendations? Feeling sad at the thought of having to give up current buggy for a new one haha

She’s 3 now and more than capable of walking but thoroughly enjoys being able to fit in the basket still when she’s tired 😂 x

We had the silver cross wave too & like Gemma, I found it sooooo heavy. I ended up selling it after a few weeks because I just couldn’t deal with it. I got an Ickle bubba Venus instead which I preferred, it was light, easy to fold and I liked having them side by side 🙂
We have a 21 month age gap, Feb 23 baby and Nov 24 baby. We've not gotten a double and doing okay so far without it, but I think that's due to it being the cold winter months. Hoping we won't need one come spring/summer and that we can use a buggy board instead x

My first two have 15 months between them and we upgraded to a double silver cross wave. I honestly hated it haha. Baby always had to be underneath so I couldn’t see him unless I literally looked around. It might have just been that specific model but ours is sooooo heavy and bulky. I had a c section with my second and I could barely push it for the following weeks because it was so heavy to get it up curbs. There was definitely times it was helpful but we just used it as a single after a few months and my daughter either stood on the bar or sat in the shopping basket or I took my little boy in the carrier and my daughter was in the seat. We lived in North Yorkshire at the time so it was quiet enough that my toddler was fine to walk/run most the time and then we ended up with a buggy board for a bit but didn’t really need it x
