My girl says dadada and tatata, but every baby is different, is you baby crawling or sitting yet?
@Sophie ok thank you I didn't realise the age ranged up to 9 months or so, I thought it was around 5-6months to babble but that gives some relief at least. He has a paediatric check up on Monday so I'm going to mention it anyway
@Santa yes he's been sitting unaided since 6 months and just started army crawling/getting onto all fours within the past week or so
My little girl currently thinks she’s a dinosaur and screeches and screams all day but not babbling yet! She is crawling, sitting and pulling up to stand already though so think she wanted to focus on that first! I’m not worried as it will come I’m sure! Xxx
Nope😂 I think I have an overall lazy baby
No babbling here! I heard that you either get a walker or a talker, so if your baby is focusing on physical development, they can start babbling later xx
My first was very active phisicaly and language came later, reading and waiting too 🙂
Don’t worry Every baby is different he will get there my son dose babbling ect but won’t roll yet he’s a lazy boy 😂
I have a full on babbler and she’s started interacting with me mirroring what I say which is cute. She sits unaided but hasn’t rolled from back to front and not crawling. Every baby develops at different stages no matter if they are similar ages. X
Think that's an old wives tale tbh. Babbling happens sort of 6-9 months so I wouldn't worry. My eldest didn't babble till around 8/9 months but spoke super early and by 2 was speaking in full sentences - nursery have said he's talking more than most 3yos so please don't worry about these things. It all comes in time.
