I have only had c sections so I don’t know how it compares to a vaginal birth but I didn’t find it that bad. The first couple days are the worst but I never needed anything more than Tylenol or ibuprofen.

I had one after a vaginal birth. Baby was in distress and my heart was not coping so was an emergency. The first 3 weeks were tough! My 2 year old didnt understand I can’t do things like lift him or get down on the floor and play. Obviously having a toddler and baby you can’t rest a lot afterwards either, I needed additional pain killers to get me through the days. I definitely found my vaginal birth easier and less painful to recover from x

First emergency was horrid but I was kept in bed after it due to complications the second was fine my toddle was a bit away with me for first few wks being alone with daddy few day and mummy feeding a baby too but he soon warmed up too me we use to cuddle every moment we got and play on the sofa together got him to help a bit with his brother which helped I say the quicker u get up and walk the better it be

I’m 5 weeks pp from my second section and I have a 2.5 year old. Tbh I’ve not found it difficult at all and I have no family support/time off. Pain wise, just like period cramps. I was at the park pushing her on the swings and wearing my newborn on day 9.
