I like batch cooking which you could do a couple of big batches and freeze. For example, you could make a lot of veggie bolognese with lentils and soya mince + veggies and freeze it in portions so that babysitter only has to cook some pasta? You can do the same with veggie soup (creamy ones too, like carrot and coriander for example, but not potato based ones). It’s hard to tell because obviously we don’t know what kind of food you and your child like. You can try making a couscous salad which doesn’t even need reheating, just chop veggies finely and make some couscous with some olive oil and veggie stock in the boiled water. Lasagna can also be frozen in portions. You can even make it with the big batch of bolognese, a quick white sauce and some cheese on top?
@N 💞 they can’t do a jacket potato but with way my son won’t eat one haha! Yeah I just done want him eating pasta every single day which is what currently happening lol
Pasta bake, vegetarian cottage pie, fish pie, veggie curry… they can all be pre made and frozen. Wraps are easy enough to make x
@Kaitlyn fish pie and curry! Ok I’m going to do these. He’s had pesto pasta, noodles and sausage rolls all week All with no veg or protein 😶
@Lydia a lot better than what Tommys had all week so don’t worry too much 🤣he ate for dinner today two veggie fingers and that’s it 🥲
Can they not even do a jacket potato? You could prep tuna pasta, or any veggie pasta bake. Do you eat quorn? If so you could make veggie chilli or spag bol/lasagne that can be heated up.
