Baby measuring small

Try to remember that the scans are quite inaccurate when it comes to sizing, as is the fundal height… so try not to worry lovely! I measured ahead my last 5 weeks of pregnancy and big on scans, was told she’d be 9.6lbs, she was 7.8lbs. Hope everything is okay x

@Lauren Thankyou! I needed that positivity. Just so worried that she’s going to be small because there’s something wrong x

She may well be small lovely, but they’ll measure you regularly and scan if necessary ☺️ you’ll be well monitored if they’re concerned x

I'm the same, 28w and measured 25cm x

@Sabrina have you had your growth scan yet? Was everything okay?x

Mines booked in for tomorrow, I'm petite framed so might just be that. I'm not overly concerned, they worry more if they are big babies if I'm honest x

I was measuring bigger and when to an scan and baby was within the range, I think sometimes depends on how we carry the belly I wouldn’t worry to much

scans are always inaccurate with measuring, my son noah measured small during pregnancy but was born 6lbs 8oz which my current midwife said was a good size for someone of my height and stature, i’m a petite woman, so she was confused why i would be measured small my entire pregnancy (i had to have regular scans all the way through, she felt it was unnecessary) xxx

@Trinidad yeah I have said that I think my belly is small from pretty much the start, so I wasn’t surprised I was measuring small but was surprised it was so much smaller than I though x

(due to measuring small with noah, i’ve got two extra scans this pregnancy to monitor his size but i believe this one is bigger than my first lol, he certainly feels it but yeah they wanted me to take two aspirin every night) xx

I measured under the 3rd percentile when they measured my bump and was sent to an ultrasound and measured on the 52nd with that. I’m quite small so I wouldn’t worry too much, you’ll probably be fine

@Natalie yeah I’m under the 3rd percentile too 🥲 hoping it’s just me measuring small and she’s healthy and as big as she needs to be xx

I measure like I’m 25 weeks and I’m 31 weeks but baby girl is 50 percentile. Bump doesn’t reflect baby’s size sometimes they hide in your back

Update: baby is measuring on the 50th percentile I’m just carrying on the smaller side 😁
