My daughter would eat 2 4oz jars a day when she started out! đ€Ł
@Oksana lol I just can't decide whether to be worried or not, she is on the lower side of weight but she always been đ
Maybe try some snacks that will better fill her up like cheese, yogurt, peanut butter? My little is obsessed with string cheese and sometimes I can get more buy in on meals if I put some on the plate, maybe try putting out some snacks with the other solids at meal times and see if that gets more interest?
My 9 month eats 6-7 4oz jar of food with 20-25 oz of milk.
My 9 month old has 3 meals a day and 4 6-7oz bottles a day. Solids she loves are cut up berries, shredded cheese, Cheerios, cucumber spears. I make her scrambled eggs, oatmeal. She loves yogurt. We donât do any jars she usually just eats what we eat but we make sure to steam her vegetables and limit certain seasonings. If sheâs hungry I wouldnât limit her just let her determine when sheâs full. Unless sheâs throwing up or upset after she eats like a stomachache or something
Definitely try more filling snacks but I do offer this snacks to my kids as well. But on the days that I notice they are wanting to snack more I do try to offer a little more food at meals. Or offer some of the meal as their snack.
She might need more diverse solids. My boy eats three meals a day. Sometimes it might look like half a jar of purées, bread, and half a banana. Or carrots, meat, and rice. Incorporating some carbs and protein seems to help his meals last longer and snack less.
Reading all of this in case my 9 month boy decides to eat more than a half tsp of purĂ©es đ I hope this changes soon because he does not like to eat solids
My baby eats two jars of puree a day but just is not interested in solids
Feed her more wholesome food/snacks! Like protein heavy and fiber filled things. We basically skipped purĂ©es and do BLW and my girl will eat almost an entire egg for breakfast with cheese and a fruit and a veggie, and then have water and bf for her âsnackâ and then eat cheese, veggie, fruit and some sort of grain for lunch and then have a puff snack and then eat a whole dinner. I always feel like purĂ©e is just for flavor/allergy introduction for kiddos, it doesnât really fill them up.

Also my thing is sometimes she will refuse to eat more solids but cry until I give her snacks ?
