Am I a ‘bubble wrap’ mum..

So.. my little boy is 10 month old and he started nursery this week which I’m finding very emotional. Today we had our 2nd intro session meaning that we sat in a room watching him on a camera for an hour. Halfway through the session, my son fell backwards on the wooden floor and cried for a few minutes. He was fine as soon as I got back in the room. I would love to continue ‘bubble wrapping’ him and be his full time protector but that’s not possible. Mama got to work!

Sorry, I'm confused, you were watching him on a camera for an hour whilst in another room, while he was at nursery? Sorry I've never heard of this! Sounds horrible for you tbh! Just watching is going to make you anxious, sounds like a terrible idea... My LO isn't in nursery yet but I completely understand and think what youre feeling is valid and natural. However, he will be OK ❤️ he's got a mama that loves him and will be so excited to see him at the end of the day and that's beautiful! Also he will get to socialise with other people and develop in a variety of ways with the care provided at the nursery!❤️

https://a.co/d/b6dzsdW We send our boy to daycare with this everyday! They send it home with him so we can use it there too. Won’t help with every fall but definitely has been a huge help and his teachers love it and think all of the littles should have one! Might ease your nerves a little.

Did anyone tend to him after he fell backwards and started crying??

@Famz - They took great care of him afterwards!

@Grace Yes, it’s a nerve wracking experience but I did appreciate the session as we could see how our son took in the environment. Especially due to him not being used to be without me! I also want to say thank you for such a lovely comment. Really reassuring so thank you ❤️

@Willa this is a fantastic idea! I’m going to order straight away. Thank you!
