Scratching

Anyone else’s babies scratching their face up? After the first scratch, I cut her nails. She scratched herself again, so I took the file to them again. I made sure to get ALLLLL the nail corners, rounded all the nails out, felt them to make sure she didn’t have any sharp points, thought we were all good, and now she’s scratched herself again. What the heck do we do? Just let her scratch her face all up? Put mittens on her? I genuinely don’t think I can file her nails down any more

My baby does the same thing. Her cheek looks awful right now. I'm not sure what else to do either

My daughter does this too. I’ve just kept filing them down every day. Their nails seem to grow like some damn weeds

@Ren she woke up this morning and she likes to like squeeze my boob while she nurses and I was like dang girl, did you sharpen your nails overnight? 💀 i probably have cuts all over my boob from her too. I swear I have to trim them twice a week

I don't breastfeed, but my girl scratches up 1 my hands when she eats

Same. Haven't taken 4 mo photos yet because of the first scratch, then cut nails and another, and then a 3rd scratch after making sure all those nails were as rounded as we could

@Sara it’s a never ending struggle! I have started filing nails daily 💀

My son nails are so sharp he scratches me more than himself but he has scars already from him doing it to his on face. I cut them as often has I can
