Yes! My child loves it. You just have to remind them it's only for hands, not for their mouth if you see them try to eat it.
Yes my 2 year old loves it she did try to eat it the first time but I corrected her and she never did it again so I’d say just keep your eye on him ☺️

Yes, my daughter is a huge fan, but I only give it to her when I’m supervising/playing with it with her. She’s pretty good about not putting stuff in her mouth though. We love to roll it out and use cookie cutters to make pretend cookies and pizza and stuff.
Yes, but you should be watching them if you don’t feel comfortable especially for the first time.
Playdoh and slime are a no in my house. My older kids have snuck it in a few times because teachers give them 1.
They will almost definitely try to eat it at first. But you just introduce it for a few minutes first with your full attention prepared to stop them from eating it. As soon as mine would try to eat it I’d put it away and say it’s not for eating. Took a long time but he hasn’t tried to eat it in a long while now. They figure it out eventually that it goes away when they try to eat it. 🤷♀️
You can make your own and it should be safe if eaten. My little one plays with okay doh all the time. When we first started I supervised more and now it's with a little supervision.
