IVF with higher BMI
Has anyone here had successful IVF with a BMI over 35?
I’ve been on a weight loss journey and went from 47 to 36 -but it’s still over the limit for most clinics. I am a healthy and active person now though. Thankfully my clinic is supportive but it would be good to hear some success stories if you have any.

Thanks for sharing. Were the meds really bad? How are you finding pregnancy? Im worried about my weight for the whole thing but I may just be overthinking it.
The meds themselves I felt fine with, just difficult to keep the weight in check when your body is pumped full of estrogen, progesterone and other meds. Have found the pregnancy so far not too bad (just quite tired and had a bit of indigestion) I actually haven't gained any weight it has just been fluctuating around the range I was at point of transfer (which is normal if you have a higher BMI and keep to a balanced diet).

I got to just below 35 for my egg collection but then the meds made me put weight on. I have had 2 successful transfers (1 early miscarriage and currently 18 weeks with the second). My BMI was closer to 39 when I had my second transfer.
