I personally did not purchase one of these and don’t think one would have been helpful to be honest. Your incision is a bit lower than where your seatbelt should lay anyway. It does not hurt to have the seatbelt over your belly and the only time I would think this would come in handy would be if someone is really slamming on the brakes, but you probably won’t be in the car much after your procedure.
@Alex I got the same, used it all through the pregnancy and for a bit after the c section, just in case. Even during the pregnancy, it might not be painful to have the seatbelt on, but it avoids the belt hurting you in case of an accident, which of course you can't predict.

I bought this for the car all the way through my pregnancy and it’s been great. I’m also having a c section. It keeps the strap completely away from the lower half of your belly https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pregnancy-Compression-Protection-Maternity-Passengers/dp/B0CHVDYS1P/ref=asc_df_B0CHVDYS1P?mcid=03c69e5d145530868726ba1b57991ac4&tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=696352643958&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12710759180892340916&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9222618&hvtargid=pla-2274290709813&psc=1&gad_source=1
