Growth scan

What’s GD? X

I’ve had same, baby jumped from 60th centile to 87th in two weeks and his tummy was measuring slightly bigger. I went for a GD test, which came back fine and then I have another scan on Monday to see what’s going on again. Although I was worried at first, I did some reading online around it but I’m just gunna see what happens at the scan on Monday. Are you booked in for another scan? X

If you have any worries about it, you could ring your MW and express your concerns? What triggered the growth scan for me was because I’d been up for reduced movements twice in under 3 weeks so it was routine really otherwise I’d have been none the wiser 😅🤷🏼‍♀️ how far along are you? X

I’m 36+1 and had growth scans because I have low Papp-a so technically was at risk of having a smaller baby 😂😅

It’s so hard because it’s never fully accurate is it? But it’s just added worry you don’t want 😅 but yeah I’d speak to your midwife if you’re concerned having no feedback from the scan and she might be able to look at your notes and explain to you. X

I had the same at my last scan and had to see the consultant who then said they wasn’t worried and not to worry

I had gd with my 2nd and was told the further your along with any of the scans less accurate it is. My bubba was 96% 2 weeks ahead with all scans. Was a 4kg baby. If your tests have come back fine with gd i wouldn't stress. Unless you wanna discuss with ya midwife doing finger pricks for the next week or so for reassurance.
