Does/would it bother you if there is wrong info in the chart after a doctor visit?

My daughter had a regular checkup (9mo) and there are multiple things that are wrong in the after visit summary. It says she’s taking a multi vitamin. Which she’s not and it was never even brought up. Says she says mama, when we blatantly talked about her NOT saying mama. And at her 6mo there was also inaccurate info. I know doctors are busy.. but it honestly frustrates me it’s not accurate.

I would just ring up her doctors when you get a chance and let them know about the things that are wrong. Not necessarily this info, but if wrong info continues, then it could affect her care in the future and there’s always a risk with that depending on what that info is ❤️ Just ring up and politely explain the discrepancies in the summary and let them know what it should be changed to. Yes, depending on their response to this, I would think about moving to a different practice. If they’re dismissive and don’t seem to care and do not change the paperwork, i’d move. If they apologise, change the paperwork straight away and it doesn’t happen again then I would stay put with them for now ❤️

If it was little things, it wouldn't have to be perfect but having developmental milestones wrong and medications wrong is a big deal

Yes that is a big red flag! I would correct this for sure and potentially try to find a new pediatrician
