Travelling with baby.

Hi all, Has anyone travelled with baby yet? We’re planning on having a little trip for what would’ve been my grandmas 80th, only to Whitby (it was my grandmas fave place!). Not concerned about the travel or being there etc as my boy is really good regardless. However, just worried about sterilising his bottles when away as don’t want to have to take the whole electric sterilising unit ( i will if it seems the better option ) just wondered what others do/have done. I was thinking cleaning as normal then boiling them in water for a while as I know that’s the old fashioned way. Also is it worth getting a travel cot as I know that they give cots but I don’t know how I feel about that and I assume they’ll be for bigger babies? Let me know guys, TIA🩵

Traveled with my first to Costa Rica at 10 months. Used bottled water and brought our own mini dish soap. We asked the establishment we were staying at for a crib/pack n play to use ahead of time, we just hand washed the bottles and sterilized when we got home.

We use the mam bottles. You can steralise them in a microwave. Or alternatively have a look at cold water sterilising. We have the Milton tub you just fill with cold water and chuck a tablet in xx

We took our own travel cot as we felt more comfortable with that for UK staycations, and for bottles we took a collapsible bowl and used the Milton cold water sterilisation tablets x

Thanks everyone super helpful!🩵

I used my carrycot for my kids to sleep in before 6 months 😊

When we went away we took his travel cot and then with bottles, I just got a pop up dish bowl and took Milton tablets, with a sponge and fairy liquid xx

You can also get sterilising bags to put it all in for the microwave. Super easy and can use them up to 20times each the ones I have.

@Katy We used them in the hospital when we first had him! never seen them since though not really looked. are they in most shops?
