Hey, I'm due a small baby, she's around the 10th percentile but didn't grow between the last scans but they weren't worried at all, having another scan tomorrow to see where we are at, its such an anxiety filled with as well xx

Yes I’m in the same boat. Don’t worry, scans are not accurate. I’m declining induction purely based on baby’s size. If everything else is okay (bloodflow, fetal movements, fluid levels) then an induction is unnecessary.

Keep pushing them for answers, or call your triage they should be able to look into it and reassure you, or your midwife! Good luck x
My baby is measuring really small at 7.7 centile I’ve been having weekly scans for a few weeks now. They have said he’s growing just at a small rate. Try not to worry as the scan are not always accurate. They said my first was going to be in the 90 centile but he came just over a week early and was in the 18 centile and perfectly healthy. If you see the doctor after your scan for a review push for answers as to what their concerns are and the reasoning x
My first baby was small and was just below the 2nd centile, I was induced at 37 weeks due to his weight dropping and he was 5lb 11 when he was born, he was absolutely fine and we went home the next day without any complications ❤️
Following, i have my growth scan this afternoon with a consultant because babys under the 10th percentile. My first baby was also small but came on his due date at 6lb 9 went home then next day. Its just so worrying x
I'm in the same boat too. Midwife measured me small on Monday and referred me for a growth scan. She's measuring small on the scan as well but cord, placenta, dopplers, heart rate and movements all look good. I'm smallish myself and was small when I was born (6lb at 39 weeks). I'm reassured that they are keeping an eye on her and we've also had the conversation about C-section/induction if she stops growing but I'm trying to keep positive and remember that even the scans can be wrong! I've got my second scan with the consultant next Wednesday and baby feels like she's growing so fingers crossed for a bit of a growth spurt then x
Following! Had my first growth scan today at 35 weeks (measuring small), got CTG next week and a follow up scan at 37 weeks. Measuring 8th centile. Hoping the next scan shows growth as I am definitely not being induced because baby is "small". I feel it's all unnecessary stress!!
I had the same situation today I had a scan at 34.5 and they said the baby growth drops since my last scan 4 weeks ago. She is just above 10 percentile . I have an another scan in two weeks and they said if it’s not going to change then C-section. Left me so worried

What were all your babies weighing? Baby weighs 3lb 5 at 32+3 its so worrying but trying to stay positive.
@Esther mine is similarly at 33w. They have said it’s not to be worried about as long as the baby is growing

@Janki baby is growing but extremely slowly, i think there just going to keep a close eye they have already discussed c section so I kind of know what to expect.
@Esther try not to stress too much. Babies have their own way of doing things and I’m sure yours will be just fine!

Following - I measured below average at my last midwife appointment, and I am due my next in around 5 days. She said if my baby girl isn’t measuring better, I will need another scan. Will be handy to know what your outcome is, and I really hope all works out for you xx
