This is our second time trying to potty train

I’ve heard you can give them a cup with a straw and have them blow bubbles and it helps them relax their pelvic floor. Idk if this is more for peeing or both. When I tried it myself I could immediately feel it down there haha

I see this TikTok where they have their toddler blow bubbles bc it’s like the same thing and it helps them push. My baby is 2 and just started training her 3 days ago. I noticed she would pee in the bath when I told her to pee in the bath which then I knew she understood when to push: maybe try in the bath and have her blow bubbles. Also what helped with my first born was letting him walk around without any diaper or underwear so when they do pee they know bc they feel it coming down on their leg and just keep trying honestly. Potty training is very stressful but you have to be consistent once you start. Remember small tiny improvements everyday means they’re slowly getting it.

I recommend following the Oh Crap, potty training book by Jamie Glowacki! It’s on Amazon! I’m in the beginning of potty training. On day five and she pretty much runs herself to the potty every time now. Working on going commando with clothes on now and night training! I recommend having her go completely naked till she’s successfully going in the potty. The book is $17 on amazon or less on Thrift books! It is definitely worth getting. I feel like I have someone helping me through this exhausting time lol. Also pooping is just scarier to them. My daughter is still getting used to it

@Nami thank you and yes when I try the bare bottom she cry’s and freaks out due to having pee run down her legs and as soon as she’s in the shower she pees

@Lena yes I totally agree she hates having poop in her pull up and when I lay her down to change her she freaks out bc the poop goes against her butt

I potty training my girl in 2 days but I went straight to underwear… no pull-ups she hasn’t used diapers or pull-ups in month. No pull-ups at night either
