How long after starting dairy free formula did you notice a difference?
During some bottles my baby can be very sick, and also cry during and after and is very unsettled. This is his only symptom but I feel he has reflux not an allergy.
Unsure how long I should trial the formula before going back to docs to query reflux, been on the formula 5 days so far

@Louise we are doing the same! Wasn’t sure if it is an allergy but he seems better with the formula and omezprazol combined. He is still struggling to lie flat on his back on will go on him tummy!
Give it 2 weeks, if you can. Although, if they seem worse then go back sooner. Allergy formulas can be very thin and make reflux worse. Some need a thickner added too. What formula have they given and has the GP prescribed carobel or any anti-reflux meds too? X
@Anna went and got a thicker to add to the formula today so fingers crossed it helps 🤞🏼 Been put onto SMA Althera

They said to give it at least 2 weeks. It hasn't seemed to make much difference for us but we stayed on it while we tried the reflux meds
