Potty Trained

My daughter turned 3 in the middle of this month, is it still normal for them to be pooping in their pants. I know it's a hard thing and she is quite small bless her.

It took my son a while to get the hang of pooing on the potty/toilet, I think it’s definitely the bit they struggle with most! For us he just did it one day on the potty, and very rarely has any poo accidents, I wouldn’t worry, she’ll get it eventually :)

my nephew is 4 and he still refuses to poo on the potty, it’s a bit of a hard one for them to master

Poos took a good 2-3 months for my son to get it. He needed to keep pooing himself to start hating it. Also I had to shower him after due to the mess and naturally he hated the shower so that worked in our favour and he now recognises when he needs to go.. he doesn't want pooey legs or a shower 🤷🏼‍♀️ takes time but they will get it x

Thank you for your responses xx

All kids are different- my 2 year old was fine when we started around his bday. Perseverance is key!! We do go through a few weeks or resistance but he soon didn’t like the feeling ok his pants and started going on the potty. Make a HUGE fuss - we do a lot of show and tell 😂😂
