Mine did better on the regular infant formula, the organic made him constipated with lots of gas
Agree with the above. The real milk content is higher and less processed in the organic formulas. Takes baby's digestive system some time to get used to it. Green poop is very normal on any formula. Formula is extra fortified with iron and so more of it comes out in the poop.
Sometimes it takes a hot min for the little ones stomach to adjust to new formula, my daughter was the same way. Nicu had her on similac neosure but she was getting sick with it so i switched her to similac sensitive and her poop was greenish for atleast 2-3 weeks. Now if little one keeps spitting it up i would switch cause it means their stomach cant tolerate it
The poo is normal color for formula! The spit up could be sensitivity to dairy but reading some of the comments about taking time to get used to is helpful for us too! My baby has been spitting up A LOT since we gave some to her. I’m trying to fortify it with my EBM to see if it helps! I pump but wanted to have some backup formula in case she needs it!
I have not issues with this formula, my son does well on it. We tried the organic one then switched to the regular infant kendamil
Thanks everyone for your input! I think I’m just going to switch her back to the HiPP AR formula. She was doing great on that formula and it helped so much w/ her reflux but I wanted a formula that’s more accesible and that I could pick up at the store.
I had the same issues and could tell it was bothering baby girl. We switched to by heart. Some cool studies out on it as well. She’s been doing great on that!
My girl has the same thing! She was breastfed until i had to combo feed. My Ped said it’s normal on formula. She only poops once every two days and it’s very green. The spit up part might have something to do with it being whole milk, it takes their tummies a little bit to get used to. I switch my daughter to the goat milk and she seemed to do better but it really just depends on what you want to do.
