Yep, for the full 12 months I did it I felt like I had constant PMT 🫠
@Louise did you feel better when you stopped?
Yes I did, to be honest. I did phase it out over the course of a few weeks though by going from exclusively breastfeeding, to breastfeeding / expressing, to just expressing, expressing and formula and then just formula. I loved breastfeeding at first but I had to stop as it was really hindering me in all aspects, and I felt so much better not knowing my baby was completely reliant on me and it gave me so much more freedom when I wasn’t!
@Louise do you mind me asking how you phased it out? i’d love some pointers to finishing as my little one is 12 months next week and i feel ready to stop now xx
Of course! How old is your little one? Have they ever had bottles? And is there anyone else with you in your home? Partner/parent etc? X
@Louise she did have the odd bottle but she isn’t fussed now, if i’m at work she’ll just wait for me to finish work (she’ll have meals/solids and water) she’s 12 months old in 8 days. i don’t have anyone else at home me and her dad recently split so it’s just me and my 2 little ones! so i don’t think the actually feeding will be an issue it’s the comfort aspect xx
Yes this is me🥲
