I had this yesterday when I went to see midwife but also had protein in my sample, so been referred for diabetes test. I’m 34 weeks & one day. I got a call yesterday to book me in for a scan today. Had the scan today & her tummy is measuring on the 96th anything over 95th is classed as big. Fluid I was in guidelines but, higher end. They made me wait to see the consultant today. Been booked in for a glucose test Friday & will he having another scan in 3 weeks & seeing a consultant. Another c section is looking likely 😕
I got sent in bcos my bump was measuring smaller, turns out from the growth scans I have had now baby is measuring too big, 99th centile, I have GD and now taking metformin. It’s so random and not what I expected but definitely grateful for the extra care. Those measurements can be so inaccurate and the sonographer told me they can be out with their scans by up to 20% also, I only waited till the next day for my growth scan appointment to be put on badger x
My bumps measuring 4 weeks ahead same with my son at this stage - I wouldn’t stress! I’m also 1kg lighter now at 36 weeks than I was at 8 weeks pregnant x
Assuming it was a bump measurement I wouldn’t worry, size can be dependant on a lot of things like baby positioning, how much water your carrying and so on. Just take it as a free scan! And it’s different for each hospital mine they call you on the morning and give you a same day appointment
