Water residue after sterilising

I use the MAM bottles and sterilise them as per instructions in the microwave. Most of the time, the teat will retain some water droplets which just don’t dry away with air. Any ideas on what to do? I assume I can’t wipe it away with a paper towel as that would make them unsterile again, idk?

Just leave them they'll be fine it's just sterile water

Just leave it the microwave boils the water so it's sterilised water so it's fine. I never leave my bottles to dry before using them u don't need to x

Shake the water out and close

Thanks @Emily @Willow - my little girl is 7 weeks old, I assume still ok to leave the water?

Perfectly fine

If you leave to air dry they won't be sterile. Which isn't actually an issue as you don't need to use sterile things to feed your baby at the point of feeding. They just need to be sterilised at some point to kill any bacteria that may be left by formula milk residue. But no the water droplets are fine. The water is sterile when it comes out of the microwave (but becomes unsterile when left to dry)

I use cold water method and use bottles straight from the tub sometimes microwave them too no need to dry

Just tip the water out of the base and build the bottle once it's cool enough any water droplets left in the bottle or teat is absolutely fine to leave there it's sterilised water in a sterilised bottle x

Thanks ladies! 💗
