Refusing food

Im following this because my little boy is the same and it is stressful!!!! I dont know what to do 😵‍💫 He used to be such a good eater and now doesn't want anything but yet he'll eat everything at nursery just not at home 😒😢

@Rachel I know the feeling. Mine was a great eater too and would eat anything and everything but now she won’t even eat fruit!!!

Its frustrating and stressful isn't it ! I've been told it's just a phase and he'll grow out of it, but it's been weeks now 😵‍💫😢😢

So frustrating! I hope she grows out of it because I feel so guilty like I’m not feeding her enough but I don’t know what to do either

I'm having the same issue atm and I'm just really trying to persevere with sticking to meal times, snack times and no alternatives. My three yr old is so fussy at eating and I think it's because I would always give her alternatives/what she wanted so I'm trying something different. So far I can see it works, when I haven't given in, I've left her lunch on the side and she has eventually given in and gone and eaten some.

My lg has been like this for quite a while now She won't touch breakfast ( barley allergy so limited on cereal options) so she will have a oatbar that's all Lunch she might take a nibble at it Dinner she's very hit and miss as to if she will eat or not She's still on 3 5oz bottles of formula at the moment as she refused oat milk (milk allergy) and it seems to be the only way to get some kind of calories into her because she's small Both my drs and hv have told me if she's eating then just let her eat whst she wants Rasins, yogurt and biscuits 🤦🏻‍♀️ But to be fair my 6 year old is very very fussy and has a beige food diet so I guess I expected this from her too

I just worry so much that she’s hungry. I’ve taught her a couple of signs so I mean she’s pretty good at signing for food or milk when she really wants it and if it’s not a meal time she’ll get a snack. But she’s also gone off so many of her favourites that I don’t know what else to give her

Exact same boat breastfeeding so she just feeds all the time instead

@Emma-louise have you tried the Alpro growing up soya milk? Xx
