@christa all the comments on these videos would say I have kindergarten that don’t know these things and I don’t understand how my son loves to learn new things.
this sounds rude but if a kindergarten doesn’t know their colors that’s an issue. it’s so basic. it’s impressive for our 2 year olds to know but kinders who don’t know their colors would be considered way behind
Idk might depend on the child. My son just turned 3 but at at age 2 he could count 1-30 in English and 1-20 in soanish/german, said his alphabet in English and Spanish, knows all his colors, shapes, etc BUT my daughter who will be 2 soon isn’t at the level he was at and I’ve been doing the same stuff with both!
How do you teach them all this? I’ve been trying to teach my almost two year old he knows 1 and 2 and kind of the alphabet but it’s all gibberish still any tips?
@Cara I'm right there with you! How do we do this? 😆
Dam I guess I’m doing something wrong.
@Marlene this! My son is 6 and at 2, we swore he was a genius😅. My daughter will be 2 and she’s not as “advanced”.
@Cara @Lexi flashcards, daily. Even for just 5 minutes. Repetition. Pointing things out in real life that was seen/taught on the flash cards. Also teaching in “song”. They learn and retain better in song…rhythmic patterns.
Yes a lot of flashcards and repeating and giving praise
@Erica my son birthday is also the 9th 🎉
@@Tashaluv let’s be friends!!
my daughter (2) can say her colors, count to 10, (sometimes 20 but not accurately or consistently) and the first half of the alphabet! sounds like your son is super smart. i don’t think it’s totally unheard of, maybe just not common?
