@KAM my daughter could care less about the milk unless it’s nap time or bed time. She just wants food from the second she wakes up to the second she closes her eyes. Obviously I don’t feed her all day but I’m at a loss with how to keep her belly filled
My son just turned 12M and he is lactose intolerant. We put him on ripple kids milk. Maybe you can try a milk with more calories. I can recommend Ripple as it has 140 calories. Maybe that will help keep her full
We’re keeping ours on formula for now. He doesn’t get enough calories from food yet. We will switch him to the toddler formula at some point.
@Sharon where do you find it?
@Jessie I’m contemplating going back to formula. We struggle at bed time the most and I don’t want her to think if she wakes up she should automatically get a snack
You could always try a toddler formula too. But personally, I’d switch back.
I feed my 12 month old all. day. long. I swear he could eat something every hour if I gave it to him. Also still nursing. I couldn’t bear to wean him when he still seems hungry all the time. I think they are just growing a lot right now
@Ella I hope it’s just a growth spurt she’s gonna eat me out of the house😂😭 I swear every hour she thinks she needs a snack. She grabbed her cheese puff today and dumped them on the floor and got mad because I wouldn’t let her eat all of them
To be honest I pretty much do let my son eat all day. He has a snack container that I put some puffs, dried fruit and yogurt melts in (I call it baby trail mix 😂) and he always has access to that container and grazes on it as he plays. He never started taking big bottles so he’s been eating every 2-3 hours his whole life I imagine it’s hard to be expected to go longer all the sudden. Plus he is small only 19 pounds and is constantly on the go so I’m not worried about it lol
I recommend Ripple as well. We do the Ripple Kids milk (original, not sugar free since he didn’t like that one). They sell it at Target.
Yes I find mine at Target too.
This is my one year old, I’m noticing he’s drinking more whole milk than formula. We feed and feed him and it doesn’t matter he still prefers his milk. Thank goodness the whole milk is cheaper than formula because we use to buy so much. My son is always hungry too. He’s at eight ounces and still screams bloody murder
