Formula abroad

Hello - my partner and I are due to go to Australia in March/April and our baby will be 5 months old. I was wondering if anyone had any experience/knew anyone who has experience of purchasing formula over there? We use Aptamil and have located the powder at chemist warehouse - but we often use the “on the go” ready made bottles for when we are out and about and cannot seem to find them anywhere on Aussie websites? Thought it would be worth a shot to see if anyone could help with where might sell them?! Thanks in advance! :)

Maybe look on amazon Australia and see if they have them

Hey thanks for your response :) it turns out that the instant bottles of formula do not exist in Australia which surprises me! Have to pre boil water to take out with you and then use milk powder sachets for on the go. Not as efficient as the pre made bottles really x

Could you order some to click and collect at boots after security at the airport?

Yes that would probably work but we would need six weeks worth haha x

I recently travelled to Barbados and took a lot of formula! Passing security there’s no limit on how much baby formula you can take as long as the baby is with you. We have pre-made formula in hand luggage, suitcases and we were fortunate enough to travel with other family members so they took some in their suitcases too. I also packed the powder to use at the air bnb. Just double check where you’re staying the tap water is safe to drink and boil that to make up the bottles. I hope this is helpful. I just googled and Australian tap water is consisted safe for most of the country. The formula in the airport works out more expensive too
