How to figure out how old your baby is

How do you guys work out how old your baby is? For example, my daughter was born on the 5th November which makes her 12 weeks and 4 days or would you do it on the 5th of every month? Which would make her 2 months and 3 weeks?

I think if I'm talking to other parents I say it on weeks. People with no babies I use month's

My health visitor says on the date they was born. So my son was born on the 20th November so on the 20th February he will be 3 months.

I also use weeks when talking to other parents or medical professionals and otherwise say 2 months or 2 and a half months etc as a rough age

On the date they were born if you are using months or you can just say x weeks. I always find it confusing either way :))

Your daughter is a month older on the 5th of each month, and a week older every Tuesday. I think once you are out of the '8 week newborn stage' I just round up/down to the closest month. For example my son was born Nov 24th, so now I would say he was two months old if someone asked x

I use the bounty app to keep track cause it confuses me x

Yes. I would say 12.5 weeks or go by the date for months x

I never quite understood this myself 😭

I use weeks until she’s just hit the month, so il say 3 months atm as she turnt 3 months on the 3rd but from Sunday il say she’s 14 weeks!
