@Annie you’re right it is the only sexual if you make it that way and that’s why I’m like whatever you can wear it in the house and it is cute but it’s totally hard to let go of the fact that it looks so close to the adult sexy nurse one I wouldn’t do the Minnie one either mostly because I hate Disney lmao But like I’d prefer a realistic nurse costume over the candy striper inspired one like those were all cutesy so doctors could eye them
i talk about this all the time, and ppl go as far as u let them get away with. someone bought my 1 year old a crop top for her birthday. first of all, no, second of all, its january wtf she need that for
the "forbidden" bell bottom leggings, crop tops, scoop neck tops, no no no.
@Annie to me the difference is, that’s how Minnie Mouse is dressed in cartoons and images they see. Nurses my children see are not dressed like that, so why is that the costume??? If my child says they want to be a nurse or police officer it should be a fake kid costume that resembles an actual nurse or police officer. Looked up girl officer costumes and the first one I saw had a skirt. When have you ever seen an on duty officer in a skirt??? Why is the change necessary? I don’t understand

@Mia girl sometimes the diapers be hanging out because they’re so little Like I love some bloomers and a baby doll top And I feel like the difference is one is babytized adult outfit and the other is traditional baby wear?
My mother took me to the medical supply store when I as a kid and let me pick out my own scrubs and stethoscope. But, she always made or put my costumes together instead of being the pre-packaged costumes.
@Yâbbie I’ve been making their costumes but party city is going out of business so their costumes are like $5 and mom grabbed a bunch for them to play with so they have a big ol bin of costumes they just wake up and put on lol

idk i think the costume is cute and would totally let my daughter wear it i feel like things are only weird or sexual if you make them that way? like what is different from that nurse outfit to a minnie mouse one?? like the minnie mouse looks the same (short dress, ruffles, ears on headband) is it JUST because being a nurse is a profession or would u also not let her wear the minnie mouse equivalent?
