No screen time

We play school bus and my kids love it. Put the dining room chairs out like a bus, grap a plate for the wheel and if the kids have lunch boxes/backpacks... BAMB! 30+ mins of solid entertainment. Switch drivers, go to the school, store, library. It's endless

Write out the ABCs on a big sheet of paper. Then use post-it notes and write out each letter on a seperare note, spread them around the house... kids have to find them and match them to the letter on the paper. Also works if you have blank stickers.. I just cut them out and shuffle them on the table and it's more like a puzzle.

I really try to incorporate my day into theirs... they help me cook, do the laundry, load/unload dishes... it obviously takes longer but they are learning and actually want to help most of the time.

Last thing... baking soda, vinegar, food coloring. Science experiment that will keep them entertained for a LONG time!! YouTube ideas and there are so many fun things to do with these 3 items!

What do you do with these items?

Mostly my son wants me to read him books. He likes to play outside. He likes to cut with scissors and loves to draw on our whiteboard. He plays with his tool set and paw patrol toys. He chases our cats. He plays with his sister. He loves to play in the sink. We go out to the park, or the library, or the store. You know.... stuff. 🙂
