😂 I keep saying I will. Tried a bit while I was still pregnant but we didn't make much progress till I gave birth. Now, I don't even seem to have a single will to try again as my hands are full 🫣 Will definitely try this summer as she is already showing all the cues and I hardly put her in diaper when she's not napping/sleeping. All I need is a little bit of patience and time to start again. 😩
We got the potty and the seat for the toilet and books (No More Nappies & George’s Potty). Other than reading the books together we have yet to start. He seems almost ready if not ready now, but I also have an almost 6 month old and we’re going abroad in April so probably going to keep putting it off until after that
My daughter seems ready and has been on the potty at nursery, but that’s mainly because her bestie who is older is potty training. I don’t think she’s fully ready and I’d like it to be warmer before we start. I also think she’s the sort that if we start and realise she isn’t ready, she’ll refuse to go back to nappies
I think my little one is just about ready but I am dreading it! I don’t even know where to begin so feeling a bit like I’m being lazy but actually just lost.
He’s really excited by the potty but won’t let us take his trousers off😂😂
debated it, tried it for a day or so but I just don't think she is ready for it yet. she hates sitting on it most of the time and runs off so I decided I won't traumatise her by making her and going to try again when she 2 and half. I'm still going to ask her if she wants to and explain to her in the mean time.
I have no clue how to start my lil boy. He’s “showing signs” but we’re also waiting to get a paediatrician referral for these specific signs 😂 it’s going to be nothing like trying to do it with my lil girl
Mine is turning 2 this Saturday and it has been 2 weeks that she is potty trained . I have introduced the potty a long time ago and she was using it before every nap and bedtime but getting rid of the nappy was another story . What has really help in my case is buying her underwear « like mummy » , she got so excited ! Then I was putting first the underwear , then nappy for a bit and every time she would wee in the underwear I would explain that we can’t wee in the underwear and she needs to tell me when she needs a wee ! Hope this helps !
We removed nappies over Christmas (as we had 2 weeks off together). So she exclusively uses the toilet or potty every day except she still has a nappy for her nap and bedtime at the moment. I will say though we did extremely part time EC almost her whole life, and obviously when she joined nursery just in the evenings so she was used to the toilet already
Mine are not ready yet, we waited til summer before turning 3 with out first and he had the language to tell us he needed to go. Very chilled and few accidents so will do the same this time. Better to ensure they're ready than rush and cause issues later down the line imho.
Not at all! I’m thinking to start mine in the summer when it’s warmer and he can walk around with his nappy off. I’ve heard from many people that’s a good time to do it 🙂
