Laparoscopy and Hysterocopy

Hi all, I’m having a laparoscopy and hysterocopy next month due to suspected endometriosis and I’ve been having difficulty becoming pregnant. My question is, does it matter where you are in your cycle when you have surgery? My consultant said that I shouldn’t be on my period, but he didn’t say anything about avoiding a certain window. I’m due to be on day 23 of 28 of my cycle when I have the surgery. Thanks!
