In the event of…OCD thoughts

Hey mamas I want it to know if I’m alone in this….is it normal to out of no where think about who’s the most equipped person to raise your kids in the event that something happened to you???? The world is wicked and a lot of bad things are happening to innocent people and it has my mind running lately…I talked about it with my husband and he gave me a huge piece of mind but he started crying and told me not to think like that…It’s not that I want to think like that but this world is unpredictable….

Anxiety. Very real after postpartum. Please talk to a Dr. I just found out through therapy that intrusive thoughts aren’t the norm. YES! Make a plan. Even if it has to be without your husband. His response was unfortunate because YES- as adults you do have to make a plan. But make a plan and let that be it. Living will… insurance… then mental health help; that’s my advice. Love and light. I’m 4 months into therapy and my thoughts have decreased by 75 percent.

@B Yes I also have an anxiety disorder and general depressive disorder..I start therapy in March and I’m really looking forward to it…But you’re right that’s definitely what I want to do make a plan and just leave it at that I don’t want to continue thinking about this or drive my self crazy about it….

Definitely always have a worst case scenario plan . But understand that worst case scenario..... Is ridiculously unlikely to happen ( both you and your significant other perishing)
