Maybe you can try selling some things around your home u no longer use? Try selling clothes on poshmark, depop, and home stuff on fb marketplace

Have you priced the stuff on Vinted too high? Upload on there little and often. Have you put on your local fb pages for any support? Do you have any local community larders near you or can you get referred to a food bank? We have pages where I am where you can ask for support and people are willing to help with food etc. Have you tried the Olio app? (Think that’s what it’s called. It’s free food basically) Do you get the winter heating support? If not enquire about it with your local council and see if you would be eligible. Why aren’t your windows fixed? Chase that. If it’s council you should be priority as you have a young baby.

It is tough! We have barely been getting by some weeks! You are not alone! I too was looking at everything and anything to earn something whilst off. You are doing amazing! Not sure if you have already but check universal credit and see if you entitled to a top up!

I’m so sorry you’re going through this, baby girl will only remember the love and care you give her. This will just be a bump in the road for you in the long run. definitely chase the council, or if you are renting privately and your landlord isn’t helping with fixing the windows, definitely complain to the council. They can investigate landlords for failures ect Can you seal the windows with duct tape etc? Just until the council can help. I know that’s another expense but may be a quick win. then hot water bottles for you before you get bed… just to get rid of the chill before you settle down. Definitely try your local church and food banks, people will always try and help where they can. I hope things get better for you soon!

There is a game app called misplay, tracks hours played on games and gives gems which can be used for vouchers or a online Mastercard. Can literally just leave your phone running open on a certain game when dealing with baby etc to get the points

thank you guys for all your help i went to a food bank etc it’s just heating we have enough blankets and things
i am private rent and i’ve been telling her since september that the windows need fixing only last month she said someone is coming out to fix them when they arrived they fixed my back door instead
we use a lot of blankets in the day but through the night us the hardest because i’m too worried about blankets in my baby i don’t have any cellular ones. she sleeps in a long sleeve vest a baby grow socks and 2.5 tog swaddle and this morning she has still woken up ice cold i’m on the council currently looking for a council house but im low on priority as i already have “a roof over my head”
