Does anyone earn more than their partner? I earn quite a bit more than my partner but I also cut my days down to care for our little one. Sometimes I feel like I need to try and be everything though, the money earner and main care giver. My SO does want to progress but is unsure what he wants to do. My question is, does anyone else earn more than their partner and feel like they’re carrying it all? I just feel like without me being full time we can’t really get much done.

Hi, we don't have exactly this situation but at the moment I have the more consistent income. My partner looks after our children one day a week and I do one day, they are in nursery 3 days. Could your partner do a day or two a week so you can work more or have less nursery fees.

Similar situation… but I think we feel like that as mums regardless of income… we just try and do it all
