I'm a nurse who works from home. My job is through our local clinic, so I talk with patients who are local. I have two kids (ages 3 and 1) and send them to daycare 3 of the 4 days I work. That 4th day my husband is home and cares for them. It's stressful having kids around while working, so I try to limit it. I had to call a patient a few weeks ago and asked my 3 year old if she could be quiet. She assured me that she would be quiet. Sure enough, she didn't make a peep while I was on the phone, but when I checked on her after the call, she was walking around on the kitchen counter! 😳🫠 She decided that she wanted to wipe down the kitchen cabinets that are up high to make me happy. Augh! 🤣 My heart nearly stopped when I saw her doing that.
