@Amanda thank you!! This has made me so happy to hear. What is a non stress test? Haven't heard of this before
I had SUA with my 2nd child. A baby girl as well. I was induced at 39 weeks with a COMPLETELY healthy 6lb 8oz baby girl. She is thriving til this day. Perfectly healthy! 💕
I non stress stress test basically sees how baby will handle labor. It's a common test and no harm to you or baby
During a non stress test they wrap a band around my belly. The band shows my heart rate, babies heart rate, baby's movements and any contractions I'm having... it's totally non invasive and it only takes about 20 minutes. It's basically just a little 20 minute glimpse of her health and goings on in my tummy. You pass the test when baby's heart rate goes above a certain rate 5 times, and if she moves more than 5 times. I've passed every time with in about 7 minutes. Afterwards they do a quick ultrasound to measure the amniotic fluids to make sure everything's where it should be. I love doing these it's the most peace of mind I've had my whole pregnancy.
I have that! Currently 37 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl! We've done 2 growth ultrasounds (20 weeks when I was diagnosed and 34 weeks) she's measuring right on track/a few days ahead. I've also been doing weekly non stress tests since 34 weeks, so far everything is going great! Try not to worry and communicate with your doctors/midwives and do everything they recommend, and you and baby will be fine. ❤️
