Mental health struggles

Hi ladies, I’m really struggling with my mental health lately. It’s making work difficult as I don’t have much interest in it, and the commuting is awful with feeling sick and tired. I’m doing CBT/counselling, opening up to people, that kind of stuff, but it feels chemical to be honest like something I can’t control. I know it’s likely my hormones but I just don’t feel myself at all. Any advice? 🥲❤️

Maybe try get counselling with a perinatal specialist, if you speak with your midwife they can do the referral for you! I got offered CBT this pregnancy my 4th time trying this and still no improvement, I’m not seeing the perinatal mental health team. Hope this helps and you feel better soon xx

I’m so sorry you feel like this and I don’t have advise but just want to sayI feel the same and you aren’t alone in how you feel. It’s definitely my hormones and it’s HARD!!! You have no control over how you’re going to feel from day to day! I’m just trying to make sure I get enough sleep / rest and try and do something I look forward to every day, even tiny things. I’m just trying to see it that I have to ride this wave and how I feel one day isn’t going to be forever. I hope you feel better soon 🩷

**now seeing

Hey; firstly so sorry you’re feeling this way! I’m a huge advocate for making sure you get up and move (even though it sounds really stereotypical) just a little bit of exercise, a class or group etc, your mind will be quiet whilst doing it and afterwards you’ll release endorphins and hopefully feel a bit better. As someone else said also ensuring you are getting enough sleep but also really beneficial sleep and recovery I know it’s so difficult with the tiredness but the pros outweigh the cons xx
