Crawling
Honestly starting to freak out a little now 🤣 my little boy is one on Saturday and he still won’t get up and crawl 🙃🙃🙃 he just flops down and won’t even try to he just moans and acts like he can’t get anywhere 🥴 he will drag himself a long and can get back into a sitting position from being on his tummy but just won’t actually lift himself up on his legs and crawl!? He has taken a couple of steps himself and will happily walk about with you holding your hand but is just not attempting the crawling 🙃 & I’ve seen that really they should be crawling before walking??? Anyone else in a similar situation 🤣🤣🥴

@Georgina oh really! Yes he’s the same very strong on his legs he will stand on his own and everything it’s just the crawling I was stressing about they make it sound bad for your child if they aren’t crawling first!! Thank you so much! ☺️
My mom said I didn't crawl. I just stood up one day and started to walk. Now I never stop. Both my kids took a bit long, but they ended up crawling. Each kid is different
My little one didn’t crawl! She bum shuffled at about 10 months and was a little late with walking, started at 17 months. She is 2 now and can easily keep up with her friends at nursery, she’s just not the best at climbing which i think is down to not crawling and developing that movement/ those muscles x
My daughter never crawled, she started walking at 14 months. Even now when she does try crawl for whatever reason she doesn’t do it properly. My partner never crawled, and I bum shuffled rather than crawled! Some kids just skip it. I wouldn’t be worried tbh. I mentioned to the HV at her one year review and she wasn’t at all bothered because my daughter could easily weight bare when stood up which it sounds like your son can
