Hey Bethany! I’m actually an ultrasound tech, and I can assure you that your size shouldn’t impact the image too much. More than anything, if you can tolerate it, try to not eat much for a few hours before your scan so bowel and gas doesn’t impede the picture. If you’re having the scan on your belly make sure the go in with a full bladder, and if you’re having a transvaginal scan you’ll need an empty bladder. Body fat doesn’t pose the biggest issue on ultrasound ❤️
They'll most likely do a transvaginal exam so it shouldn't be an issue! A few times at scans, when I was quite early on, I was asked to 'lift' my lower belly but it really hasn't been a problem at any scans x
My first scan was at 6w2d and it was fine x
