Nursery and holiday

Please don’t judge me for silly question but I’m not from this country and still trying to understand how the childcare works here I have a question around holidays, we are currently doing three days at nursery but would like to take a longer break during summer as it’s our habit. So probably will be away for three weeks or so. So now my understanding is that we still need to pay full fees regardless whether the child attends nursery or not? Is there any way around it ? Just feel like waste of money to be paying for all this time she won’t be attending nursery.
