Irregular periods after miscarriage

After my miscarriage it took 3 months for my period to come. I have PCOS though so that might have played a role.
@Alana thank you lovely, yes ovulation tests 3 times a day for the past 2 months and all negative, had a c section birth in October 2023, fell pregnant again in August 2024, lost in September, chemical pregnancy at 5 weeks pregnant, I suppose it hasn’t helped my hormones haven’t fully recovered from birth as well xx
@Elena sorry for your loss lovely sending you love🩷 I miscarried in September, didn’t have a period until November which was normal bleed for 5 days and then it’s disappeared again 🤦♀️ I really thought when it started again in November it would continue but nope!! I did have irregular periods before but never missed a period, I always had a period between day 30-40 which didn’t bother me but not having one at all is really messing with my emotions etc🤦♀️ xx
@Sophie sorry to hear that! Don’t loose hope! I recently had two back to back chemicals, took a month off and conceived the following month. My ovulation was a bit earlier than usual one of the cycles.
I’m sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, periods can be irregular after both a MC and a pregnancy, it’s not uncommon. In fact a lot of people’s ovulation can change and be earlier as well. Have you been tracking your ovulation, as you can also still ovulate without a period?
