@Emily pretty much same as me. We try to go out every day, even if just for a walk. Money is tight so cant always go somewhere special. When inside it's mainly a mix of playing with toys, reading and educational games, maybe colouring or some art and crafts, and then tv in the afternoon. I just notice days when my boy seems like he's "misbehaving" because he is bored
Do you have family you could go and visit? At the weekends when my boy isn’t at nursery I will try and get down to see his older cousins if we have nothing planned because like your wee boy, I think he sometimes plays up if he’s getting bored. I think being around older kids can help but I know that’s maybe not an option of you don’t have family close by xxx
@Chelsea we have my parents who we see every Saturday, but no other family. He also doesnt go to nursery thus far. I also find groups for this age are quite hard as they are either more quiet and sat down for babies, or for 3+.
Hi,in my city our local churches and library do free toddler play groups and nursery rhymes. Maybe you could try to find out if there is anything like that around you....
What games do you play? I take my only child out a lot, with the cold weather its been play cafes, soft play, aquarium. Watch a lot of tv
