Colic or reflux?

I have one unhappy 9 week old. Her wake periods are predominately filled with crying and fussing, bringing her knees up, flailing arms, difficult to settle even when held or rocked. Tummy time and play time are a no go, lucky if I get 10 mins of quiet in a bouncer chair. She clicks when she feeds (EBF) but has been checked for tongue tie. Been told I have a fast let down but I’m finding her exhausting at the moment. Any advice? HV suggested could be reflux as all times of day but she seems to only bring up feeds with burps. She is often awake 5-11pm in the witching hour but then up again 2-5 again impossible to settle. I have a toddler up at 7am each day so getting 0 sleep.

My boy was like this and he had reflux but also had a cows milks protein allergy! So could you try go dairy free and see if that helps? It might take a few days for all the dairy to get out your system! Once we went dairy free he was mich happier but still was a very sicky baby!

Our little one had colic, reflux and a cows milk protein allergy, she was on formula though so not sure how that would help with breast feeding. But maybe cut out dairy products that could help? Maybe some colic drops as well straight in her mouth. Possibly do bicycle legs to help with trapped gas

Can I ask who checked the tongue tie? Health visitors, midwives etc aren’t qualified. My HV said by boy didn’t have one, when he got properly assessed by a specialist he actually had a 70% one! Until that was sorted he had a suffered a lot with trapped gas and reflux and was really unhappy and uncomfortable

Hi @Heather May I ask if anything helped your little one? Your baby’s symptoms sound a lot like my baby and I am just desperate for any advice. Thank you!
